Shipping policy
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. During times of high shipping volume or in the case of issues with our service delivery partners or other issues outside of our control, your order may be delayed either in shipment or delivery.
Shipping Insurance & Signature Requirements
Due to the nature of our antique and vintage jewelry inventory, all items are shipped fully insured at no additional cost to you. We take the protection of your precious purchases seriously.
All shipments require an adult signature verified by ID upon delivery. This signature requirement serves two important purposes:
- Security: It ensures that only an authorized adult receives your valuable item, protecting against theft or unauthorized acceptance.
- Verification: The shipper will verify the recipient's identity with a valid ID, providing an additional layer of protection and documentation for both you and us.
Please ensure that someone 18 years or older will be available to sign for your delivery. If you have concerns about delivery or need to arrange a specific delivery time, please contact us before your order ships.
Note: Signature requirements may extend delivery times by 1-2 business days compared to standard shipping. We believe this extra care is worth the peace of mind.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Due to the nature and value of the items we sell, your order will be shipped with appropriate insurance. As a result, our shippers require an adult signature (with proof of identification) upon receipt.
Local in-person pickup
Local pick-up can often be arranged in the Houston area (roughly speaking, inside Beltway 8). The location and timing of pickup is dependent on both your and our availability. Local pickup is available at our sole discretion. Please contact us in advance of purchase to confirm.
International Shipping
We do not offer international shipping.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@hbirdvintage.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We only ship to physical addresses that can accept deliveries from all major commercial carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.). While we may ship via USPS from time to time, we cannot guarantee availability of USPS shipping and so do not ship to P.O. Boxes. We do ship to Personal Mail Boxes (The UPS Store, PostNet, etc.) as long as they can provide an adult signature to our shippers when receiving packages for you.
